While HTC may be working furiously to unlock the bootloader for the Sprint HTC EVO 3D, it looks like our friend up north may be the first in line for it. Earlier this week, Rogers announced that the HTC EV O3D would be heading to their network this summer. While the official announcement makes no mention about the bootloader, one commenter was brave enough to ask the question which received a timely response from RogersKatie who posted the blog post announcing the HTC EVO 3D.
“Yes, our HTC EVO 3D will have an unlocked bootloader” – RogersKatie
This is great news for anyone on Rogers and should be encouraging for anyone one Sprint who’s already purchased the HTC EVO 3D. Unlocked bootloaders are coming. We just need to wait a little bit longer.
