HTC Bliss ROM with Sense 3.5 gets ported to a half dozen HTC phones

These days, custom ROMs are a dime a dozen.  Depending on which Android phone you have, those of you with rooted phones typically have at least a dozen options to choose from.  If you’re the proud owner of an HTC phone, we suggest you check your favorite forums since you probably have a new one waiting for you.  We’re still not sure if the HTC Bliss will be a success, but it looks like its leaked Android 2.3.4 ROM with HTC Sense 3.5 is one of the hottest custom ROMs of late.

Over the past few days, the HTC Bliss ROM has been ported to at least a half-dozen HTC phones and we wouldn’t be surprised if it hit another 5 or 6 by the end of the week.  HTC Sense 3.5 features many of the improvements found in Sense 3.0 but is intended for phones powered by Qualcomm’s second generation Snapdragon processors.

We know a lot of you have issues with HTC Sense or any other custom UI created by manufactures, but some of us think that HTC’s Sense offers one of the most refined Android experiences now available.  It may not be Android as Google intended, or maybe it is.  The whole point of Android is to allow developers to do whatever they please with the code, so why not create a custom UI that gives users a more streamlined experience and more options that stock Android.

EVO 4G, Desire HD, Incredible S, Desire S, DROID Incredible 2, G2/Desire Z

If you load up the HTC Bliss ROM on your HTC phone, leave us a comment below and let us know what you do or don’t like about the latest build.
