After countless ads, leaked launch dates, and rumors, HTC has finally spoke up about the HTC Thunderbolt’s launch date. A new post on their Twitter and Facebook page indicates that the HTC Thunderbolt is still alive and that an official announcement from Verizon should be coming soon. While many are mad about the delays, we’d like to remind everyone that neither Vertizon nor HTC has ever mentioned a launch time frame for the HTC Thunderbolt besides the “first half of 2011” which was given at CES when the phone was innitially unveiled.
Yes, we do believe that Verizon and HTC have been working through some issue with their first LTE device, but I don’t think anyone should be mad at either of them since they have not broken any promises to the public in regards to the launch date of the HTC Thunderbolt.
There is a lot of excitement about the first Verizon LTE device, the HTC ThunderBolt. HTC and Verizon will officially and publicly announce the Thunderbolt launch dates soon. Please stay tuned for the debut of this great new device.
HTC makes great devices, and I know this will be a great testament to that. I cant wait to install the Remote Access app from my employer, DISH Network, so I can stream over 200 HD channels. The high res screen will bring it out so much!
