Leaked email gives us new launch dates for the HTC Trophy and Thunderbolt

We already know everything there is to know about the HTC Thunderbolt, but an official launch announcement is the only piece of the puzzle that’s missing.  Earlier today we reported that March 21st could be the official launch date for Verizon’s first LTE handset but now we have some other evidence which claims the Thunderbolt will show up on March 17th.  It’s hard to know which report (if either) is actually true, so we suggest you simply mark both dates on your calendar to in case.

Fortunately, that’s not the end of the story. It’s not every day that we get to combine Android and Windows Phone 7 news in the same blog post, but if you take a second peek at the image below you’ll notice that the HTC Trophy 7 is listed as having a launch date of March 24th

The HTC Trophy is the first Windows Phone 7 device to launch on Verizon’s network.  Verizon version of the HTC trophy will feature a 3.8-inch capacitive display, 16GB of internal storage, 5 megapixel camera, in addition to dual CDMA and GSM network support.

Verizon’s HTC Trophy may not be as exciting as the Thunderbolt, but it’s certainly nice to see Windows Phone 7 launch on a CDMA carrier.  Honestly, we might actually see the HTC Trophy show up in stores way before the HTC Thunderbolt ever launches.  Not sure about you, but we’re getting really sick of all these unofficial “leaked” HTC Thunderbolt launch dates that never seem to materialize.
