The HTC name was originally an acronym for High Tech Computer Corporation when the company was founded. Yes, the name may be a bit bland, but HTC has launched the “HTC Generator” on its website which randomly combines groups of words which start with H T C. the company is hoping you spend some time with the generator and find an Hysterical Text Combination that you’ll share with your friends via Facebook or Twitter.
Yes, the HTC Generator is a marketing gimmick which HTC hopes will get them some extra mentions on special media, but it goes also tie back to the “Big things ahead” video teaser which was posted yesterday which finished with the words Here’s To Change. we’re still not sure what HTC has planned or if Robert Downey Jr will be involved in an upcoming marketing campaign to promote the HTC One Max, but we are definitely excited to see what’s next.
