It’s been a little more than a week since the rumored HTC One X9 has been in the news, but we now have a set of new images which give us a closer look at a white One X9. The only new detail that’s revealed by the images is the micro USB post which is centered on the bottom edge of the phone. We’ve seen this on a few HTC devices in the past, but the placement of the port has always been off-center on all of HTC’s One phones since the introduction of the One (M7). While the placement of the post is a bit of a change, we’re not at all surprised to see that the One X9 is still using a micro USB connector. A lot of new phones already feature USB Type-C ports, but HTC is likely saving that for its 2016 flagship phone.
The one thing that’s still a bit puzzling to us is the One X9’s inclusion of capacitive buttons below the display, especially considering that the device is rumored to feature a 5.5-inch screen.
Do you like the design of the HTC One X9? If it was up to you, would HTC’s 2016 flagship phone look more like the HTC One A9 or the HTC One X9?
