HTC One X9 shows off every angle in new glamour shots

We’ve know what the HTC One X9 would look like since the very first rumor hit the web, but today’s new pictures show off the phone in all its glory. Somehow, anzhuo.cn managed to get some hands-on time with the phone and took nearly a dozen incredible photos of the phone. The site confirms previous rumors, claiming that the HTC One X9 features a 5.5-inch 1080p display, MediaTek Helio X10 MT6795 processor, 2/3GB of RAM, 16/32GB of internal storage, microSD card slot, UltraPixel front-facing camera 13 megapixel rear camera with optical image stabilization, front-facing BoomSound speakers and a 3,000 mAh battery.

The images allow us to get a good look at the design of the phone. The edge of the HTC One X9 features a thin scrip of chrome trim which even wraps around the 3.5mm headphone jack on the top of the phone. The front of the phone with the HTC logo above the display and the unique design of the BoomSound speakers is reminiscent of the HTC Butterfly S from a few years back.

All we need now is the official price and release date and we’d be set. Based on the number of leaks we’ve seen so far, we suspect the device will make its official debut at CES during the second week of January. We doubt that the HTC One X9 will be released in the US, but it’ll certainly be released in Asia and might even make to a few markets in Europe. Hopefully, all will be revealed at CES 2016.

  1. What say you Mr Gray ? I’m liking the look of this and HTC designs should follow this and get better But I do feel fingerprint scanners are compulsory in 2015 so it might feel a little dated next year

    1. I’m liking the design of the One X9, but I think HTC needs to do a little more tweaking if it plans on using some of the design ideas on its next flagship. While I like the chin with no HTC logo, I don’t think the logo should be moved above the display, It lust looks tacky. HTC needs to be confident enough in its design that people will recognize its phone without the need for its logo on the front.

      1. Even Samsung puts its logo on the front of their phones, so I doubt HTC will remove it. But maybe they can find a different way to do so…

  2. My main concern is the camera module, that rectangular module looks like it would be removable. It just looks wrong
