The original HTC One X9 leak we shared with you was accompanied with quite a large promo image which gave us a clear look at the front of the phone. While the back of the phone was also displayed in a small thumbnail in the bottom corner, a new, larger image of the HTC One X9 has surfaced which prominently shows off the back side of the phone.
We initially thought that the back of the HTC One X9 featured the same design as the HTC One A9 with the camera and flash moved over to the top left corner. The new image shows that the camera and flash have been moved to the top left corner, but it also shows that the HTC One X9’s back panel sports a plastic cutout similar to that of the Nexus 6P. As with the first image, we’re not fully convinced that is accurately represents the final design of the HTC One X9. The plastic cutout around the camera lens and flash is reminiscent of the HTC Legend, but it’s been quite a while since HTC has used that design in any of its phones.
