In exactly three weeks, HTC will host a “virtual event” to unveil the “newest HTC One smartphone.” Rather than hosting a launch event in New York or London, the event will only be streamed online on HTC’s website, precisely at noon EST on October 20.
The official event invitation doesn’t reveal anything about the phone, but it does show the outline of a device which matches up with the HTC One M9 and is likely pretty close to that of the HTC One A9. Last year, HTC released the HTC Desire Eye in the fall, but we suspect that the HTC One A9 will have a much bigger impact on HTC’s bottom line since it should be accompanied by a marketing campaign and a compelling price.

Do you think it will be more than the One A9 and perhaps the announcements of devices that will receive Android 6.0?
