HTC is cutting the price of the HTC Re to just $99 over the Black Friday weekend. Starting at 9pm PT on Thanksgiving (November 27), the price of the HTC RE will drop to $99 on HTC’s online store, Best Buy, Verizon and AT&T. The sale will last till 9pm PT on December 1 or until retail inventory of the HTC RE is depleted.

The key language is “until retail inventory of the HTC RE is depleted.” We’ll see whether that happens at 9:01 p.m. PT on the 27th or not…..
Doubt that. Last time I checked, most Best Buy stores have 10 to 15 units in stock. Verizon and At&t stores probably have 5 each and a lot more available online. The flash sales htc has been having have been limited quantities (couple hundred units). This time, htc is offering up pretty much its enture US inventory. If they all sell out, that’s a very good thing for HTC.
Hope you’re right. Planning on taking the plunge. This would augment the camera on my M8.
