Members of the press have started to receive invitations to an HTC press event in New York City for August 19th. The invitation does not give any clues as to what HTC will be unveiling, but there are two distinct products which may be ready for launch by then.
The device we would like to see at the August 19th event in New York is the HTC Nexus 9. The Nexus 9 is expected to be the first device released with Android L and will mark HTC’s return to the tablet segment. But there’s a good possibility that the launch event will be dedicated to the HTC One (M8) for Windows which will soon be making its way to Verizon. The last time HTC held an event for a Windows Phone handset was nearly two years ago when the HTC 8X and HTC 8S were unveiled.

What I hope HTC to unveil is a flagship phablet,with specs like 5.5inches or larger QHD display,water resistant,Boomsound with atleast Snapdragon801 or faster SoC and a 13mp snapper.
