HTC is looking to change things up a little in the UK with the introduction of the HTC One Dual SIM, a variant of the HTC One 802w which was introduced in China a few months back. While the main specs and design of the HTC One Dual SIM are the same as the original HTC One, there are a few minor differences.
Like the HTC One max, the HTC One Dual SIM has a removable back panel which gives users access to the two SIM slits and a microSD card slot which supports up to 64GB of additional storage. That’s right, this new variant of the HTC One can max out with a total of 96GB of storage. Unfortunately, the extra SIM and memory card slits come at a price. The HTC One Dual SIM does not feature LTE support and the removable back panel increases the handset’s thickness by 1mm.
The HTC One Dual SIM can be pre-ordered from HTC’s online UK store for £495 (roughly $800 including sales tax). We do not know when the phone will be available in retail stores in the UK, but we suspect a handful of service providers will be offering the HTC One dual SIM to their customers with a heavy discount in the coming weeks.
