The Android 4.2.2 software update for the HTC One hand finally started rolling out. The update weighs in at 175MB and includes the latest version of Android and quite a few tweaks to HTC Sense. Users are treated to launcher bar enhancements, a widget lock screen style, home button behavior modification (remove black menu bar from screen), ability to display battery level percentage in the notification bar, quick settings, 6 new Video Highlights themes, improved Zoe file management and more.
While HTC isn’t quite ready tell us when the Android 4.2.2 update will be available for the original HTC One and the US carrier models, don’t be surprised if you see more stories like this one from us as we make our way through the month of July.
