Verizon has finally gotten its act together and has launched the HTC One. The Verizon HTC One is available for $199.99 with a new two-year contract ($599.99 if you’re looking to pay full price) and comes with all the bells and whistles we’ve seen on the international and US variants of the device. Specs include a quad-core Snapdragon 600 processor, 4.7-inch 1080 Super LCD display, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, 2,300 mAh battery, HTC’s Ultrapixel (that’s 4 megapixels if you’re keeping count) camera and BoomSound stereo speakers on the front.
Fortunately, the long wait allowed Verizon to release the HTC One with Android 4.2.2 and the latest version of HTC Sense. Other versions of the HTC One in the US are still running on Android 4.1, but they should jump directly the HTC’s Android 4.3 update before October rolls around.
Will you be purchasing your HTC one from Verizon today or are you going to wait a bit longer to see of those blue HTC one rumors come to fruition?
