A new leak by @evleaks gives us a first look at the rumored HTC Zara along with detailed spec sheet. The HTC Zara is said to features a dual-core 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 MSM8930 (the same chip that’s used in the HTC One SV), a 4.5-inch qHD (960×540) display, 1GB of RAM, 8GB pf storage, expandable microSD card slot, 8 megapixel camera and a 2,100mAh battery all running on Android 4.3 with Sense 5.5.
As you can tell from the image, the HTC Zara lives up to @evleaks’ previous statement that the device is a “mashup of the One and Desire families.” The latest specs for the HTC Zara are a bit off from previous rumors, but not enough to cause any concern. The HTC Zara is expected to launch during Q4 which should allow the low-end handset to gain some traction in time for the holiday rush.

Love to read your articles, Nice article on HTC Zara.. really appriciating
Any clue which carriers will have it?
The HTC Zara will probably not make it the the US market, but it should be available across Europe and Asia.
Weren’t there rumors of it coming to sprint? Has that rumored been disproven or is it still a possibility? I think 4.5 inch is a great screen size on a low to mid tier phone. Also like the battery size for such a phone. Should be a big hit wherever it goes.
Looks like Sprint, Verizon, and AT&T are going to get this device.
