HTC One Android 4.2.2 update hits unlocked devices in Tiawan

Just days after the Android 4.2.2 update started rolling out for the dual-SIM variant of the HTC One, we are now hearing reports that HTC One owners in Taiwan are now being treated to the update. HTC has still not released an official change log or mentioned the Android 4.2 update through any of its social media channels. The Android 4.2.2 update for the HTC One is Taiwan includes launcher bar enhancements, a widget lock screen style, home button behavior modification (remove black menu bar from screen), ability to display battery level percentage in the notification bar, quick settings, 6 new Video Highlights themes, improved Zoe file management and more.

If HTC sticks to its traditional software update roll-out cycle, we should see the HTC One software update hit a few more Asian countries before it make the jump to Europe and North America.

  1. Hey, there’s typos in the title and in the article. Also, the bigger pictures links don’t work.

  2. It’s Taiwan…if you are going to write articles about HTC you should at least know how to spell the country where they are made. I know…picky, picky, picky.
