The Windows Phone software update for T-Mobile’s HTC 8X will not be released today as previously expected. Apparently, a few issues came up during testing which forced T-Mobile to delay the software update to “perform a few tweaks” before the update is pushed out to consumers. We’re not sure who’s at fault here, but we’re hoping that Microsoft will take the lead and make sure the update is fixed and pushed out as soon as possible.
Like many other Windows 8 phones, the HTC 8X has been suffering from a handful of glitches, including issues with Bluetooth and random reboots. We’ll keep you updated on the issue if more information is made available.
