The HTC One craze is in full swing. The HTC One X and HTC One S have been on the market for a little over a week and picked up positive reviews from bloggers across the globe. But something seems to be missing – the HTC One V. According to one of our sources, HTC doesn’t plan on launching the HTC One V in Europe until the end of April since the software for the device has not been finalized yet, but that hasn’t stopped retailers in Taiwan from selling the device already.
A video of the HTC One V hit the web last weekend, showing off its retail packaging, gaming performance and even a few benchmark scores. The HTC One V isn’t on the same playing field as the One X and One S when it some to raw power, but that doesn’t mean it can’t hold its own and delivery a pretty responsive gaming experience even with some of today’s more demanding games on Google Play.
The HTC One V is expected to launch on several regional carriers in the U.S. market in the coming months. Official pricing for the handset has not been released, but we wouldn’t be surprised if off-contract pricing for HTC’s entry-level Android 4.0 handset was set right around $300.
