This week, HTC introduced five new phones for the Chinese market, delivering some of the more exciting HTC phones that have been available in the U.S. and Europe since the beginning of the summer. The five new phones include the HTC Attracted (HTC Rhyme), HTC Dual Engine S, HTC Eye-Catching 3D (HTC EVO 3D), HTC Inspiration XE (HTC Inspire XE) with Beats Audio and the entry level HTC Daren (HTC Explorer). If you’ve been keeping up on your HTC phones, you won’t really find any surprised in HTC new lineup for China.
Though HTC is based in Taiwan, they have traditionally neglected the Chinese market since the price point for their devices have been out of reach for the majority of the Chinese population. HTC’s new focus on this market indicate that their prices may now be more in sync with what the Chinese people are willing to pay for high-end Android powered devices.
