HTC Raider unveiled for Korea, shows us what the HTC Holiday will bring

AT&T customers planning on picking up the HTC Holiday once it’s officially released may want to take a quick peek at the new HTC Raider.  The Riader is Korea’s newest 4G LTE handset running on a 1.5 GHz dual-core Qualcomm processor with a 4.5-inch qHD display.  Other specs on the HTC Raider include 16 GB of intenral storage, 1 GB of RAM, an 8 megapixel rear-camera with dual-LED flash and 1080p video recording, a front-facing 1.3 megapixel shooter, and a 1620 mAh battery all wrapped up in a body that measures 128.8mm x 67mm x 11.27mm.

It may not be the thinnest handset in HTC’s lineup, but the HTC Raider should be a viable alternative for those who like the hTC Sensation of EVO 3D but want a device with a slightly larger screen.  The overclocked 1.5 GHz processor, 4.5-inch display, and 4G LTE connection should eat through the 1620 mAh battery with ease, but we guess that’s the price you have to pay when you want cutting edge technology.

For those of us in the U.S. market, the specs on the HTC Raider should match up one-to-one with the HTC Holiday – if  HTC and AT&T get around to releasing it.

  1. Anyone else notice that in the first pick it say’s 4.0 inch touch screen and then dirctly under it it says 4.5 inch display?

  2. I had read elsewhere that it would not be edge compatible, so this is great news that it is… I live in a rural area where if it were only 3g/4g/lte capable it would be impractical to get as I would lose a lot of coverage. At&t is all that works at my house so I’m stuck with it and am glad they’re getting new higher end devices. I have been using a dell streak 5 and having more and more crashes lately so I’m awaiting the release of the holiday before I upgrade.
