HTC’s first Honeycomb powered Android tablet is finally here. The HTC Jetstream is now available from AT&T for the cool price of $699.99 with a two year data contract. If you’re made or money or don’t feel like you want to pay AT&T $35/month for your internet connection, AT&T will sell you the HTC Jetstream for 849.99. The price is certainly high, but so are the specs on the HTC Jetstream. HTC had equipped the Jetstream with some pretty amazing components which include a Qualcomm MSM8260 1.5 GHz Snapdragon dual-core processor, 32GB of internal storage, 10.1-inch capacitive display, 8 megapixel camera with dual LED flash, 1.3 megapixel front-facing camera, Bluetooth 3.0, and a 7300 mAh battery which is should give used more than 37 days of standby time of 12 hours of continual web browsing.
On top of all that, HTC is thrown in a few radios which enable the Jetstream to connect with Wi-Fi GSM/GPRS/EDGE and AT&T’s HSPA+ and LTE network. We’re sure that all the extra connectivity options is one of the culprits behind the unusually high price of the Jetstream.
HTC is still expected to unveil a Wi-Fi only version of the Jetstream for the European market sometime soon. Are any of you planning on heading to your local AT&T store to purchase the new HTC Jetstream?

Not for that price tag. Are they expected to release a Wifi only model in the states?
There has not been any indication that a WiFi-only version of the HTC Jetstream will be released any time soon. I’m actually surprised that HTC has not launched the device in Europe yet.
