With the official European launch of the HTC EVO 3D scheduled for July, Vodafone is now the first service provider in Europe to announce that they will be launching the device some time soon. We’re assuming that the HTC EVO 3D specs are the same as those revealed in yesterday’s announcement, but we’re a bit perplexed about the video that Vodafone UK released with their announcement. The video highlights some of the features on the EVO in addition to the handset’s 4.3-inch qHD parallax barrier 3D display, but what’s interesting is that they show off the handset with a stock Gingerbread launcher instead of HTC Sense 3.0. We’re not sure what Vodafone is up to here, but we’re pretty sure HTC Sense 3.0 is hiding in there somewhere.
The price of the HTV EVO 3D on Vodafone is still unknown, but they have a history of offering most of HTC’s high-end devices for free with two year contracts. Let’s hope they can keep that streak alive.
