In less than a week, T-Mobile will be kicking off a new promotion which will give current users a 50% discount on a new HTC phone as long as they opt for an Unlimited Web plan. The HTC handsets which are eligible for this promotion include the HTC HD7, T-Mobile myTouch 4G, T-Mobile myTouch Slide, and the T-Mobile G2. T-Mobile will be kicking off the HTC promotion on January 19th and it is expected to run through March 8th.
The details of the promotion are a little complicated to explain, so I’d suggest you head on over to TmoNews if you’ve really interested. Essentially, anyone (except those on an Even More Plus plan) can upgrade to the HTC phones listed above and qualify for an additional $100 mail-in rebate when they sign a new two year contract with Unlimited Web.
T-Mobile may not have any new HTC phones in their lineup, but the T-Mobile G2 and myTouch 4G are just as powerful as the recently released Sprint HTC EVO Shift 4G and the HTC Thunderbolt which was unveiled at CES.
