We knew this day would come eventually. The HTC Magic (or the new MyTouch 3G on T-Mobile) has just surpasses the one million mark. While the figure is impressive, keep in mind that the HTC Magic has been on the market since April in European markets, but it was most likely the U.S. launch of the device as the T-Mobile myTouch 3G that helped surge the sales numbers just over one million units. Honestly, it’s not surprising to see the phone reach these numbers since a lot of handsets these days have achieved this accomplishment. The main thing to note here is that, the HTC Magic is the second Android phone to reach the million unit milestone. Unfortunately, HTC has not given us any recent number on the HTC Dream, but I’d imagine that adding up the sales of the two handsets, there should be around 2.5-3 million HTC Android users across the globe.
