White HTC EVO 4G LTE accidentally outed by online promo image

The black HTC EVO 4G LTE looks amazing (to those who don’t mind the glossy plastic panel on the back), but we have a feeling that a few of you may prefer the phone in white. There has been no mention of a white HTC EVO 4G LTE by HTC or Sprint, but the image above leads up to believe that a white variant of the handset may be right around the corner. The image depicting the white HTC EVO 4G LTE is currently hosted on Sprint’s website under its “promotions” web folder.

We’re assuming that the white version of the device will sell for $199, but keep in mind that it’ll probably be a Best Buy of Radio Shack limited-time exclusive – similar to the HTC EVO 4G and HTC EVO 3D.

The image of the white HTC EVO 4G LTE only shows off a small portion of the front of the device, but we can image what the entire phone would look like in white. If you are still planning on picking up the HTC EVO 4G LTE, will you get the standard black model or wait it out so you can be among the first to own the white one?

Note: if you’re not a Sprint customer, the promo image claims you can get a $100 service credit if you transfer your number over to them. Not a bad deal if you were planning on leaving your current service provider.
