Even since HTC sent out the invitation for their press event on May 6 in London, a lot of talk has been circulating around which device HTC will be showing off to the world that day. One rumored HTC device which does not seem to get nearly as much press as the HTC Dream, is the HTC Diamond. Speculation around the HTC Diamond indicated that it would be the next generation of the ever popular HTC Touch. There are not many details about the Diamond, except that is will sport a VGA screen and will be slightly slimmer that the current Touch. The HTC Diamond would probably not be much faster that the Touch if HTC is planning on making it slimmer that one of the slimmest Windows Mobile devices on the market, but it would definitely offer WM 6.1 and some enhancements on HTC's TouchFlo experience.
Now all we have to do is wait a few weeks to see if the HTC Diamond comes to fruition, if not we could simply settle for the Android powered Dream. Best case scenario? HTC will launch the Dream and the Diamond on May 6. Stay Tuned!
