HTC isn’t churning out phones as quickly as is used to, but there is a new HTC U phone on the horizon. A new Tweet from HTC has announced that the company will be unveiling its latest entry to its HTC U lineup on August 30.
The Tween and the image don’t offer a lot of detail, but the assumption is that the HTCU12 Life is what will be shown off on August 30. The HTC U12 Life will be a successor to last year’s mid-range HTC U11 Life, featuring a 6-inch 2160×1080 pixel display, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage, a 3,060 mAh battery, rear dual-camera with 16 and 5 MP sensors, the latest version of Edge Sense and a design which will replicate that of the HTC U12+.

What’s still unknown about the HTC U12 Life is the build materials and price. Last year’s HTC U11 Life featured a plastic back cover and frame. While this allowed HTC to dramatically reduce production costs and the final price point of the phone, the build felt cheap. Hopefully, HTC will find a way to use the same material of the HTC U12+ and deliver a premium build on the HTC U12 Life.
Curious… Most curious
It would be beautiful if it is a new HTC device ( smartphone ), Sprint could be involved. Otherwise I’m stuck with my HTC 10 on their network, unless of course I leave em
