HTC has been taking its sweet time wrapping things up with the HTC U12+, but the phone’s launch finally has an official date. We haven’t received our official invitation yet, but the latest Tweet from HTC shows that the phone will be unveiled on May 23rd.
While HTC typically teases us with a few abstract images, this time around, we’ve been given a clear look at the phone’s internal components. As we’ve seen in multiple leaks, there are a total of four cameras, a large battery, and a whole lot more. HTC’s Tween also implies that the U12+ will have more to offer than just an impressive spec list.
Coming Soon. A phone that is more than the sum of its specs. pic.twitter.com/m2skJSK0qt

We know that Edge Sense will be coming back, but HTC could have a few other tricks up its sleeve. May 23 still feels like a long ways away, but it’s nice to know that the wait for the HTC U12+ finally has an end-date.
Hey, this isn’t actually a dismantled U12, but actually an iphone 6..

“Update: As pointed out by Caetronianus, these aren’t new components. Or even components of an HTC phone. Rather they’re a disassembled iPhone 6…”
