The HTC Desire 12 isn’t a phone that most of you probably care about, but that doesn’t change the fact that it will soon be on the market as an entry-level smartphone – something we haven’t seen from HTC is quite some time. The pricing and release date are not available yet, but a new leak showing an image of the phone’s specs on the retail packaging confirms all of the details that were shared by @evleaks last week.
The phone’s spec list includes a 64-bit quad-core MediaTek processor, 3GB of RAM, a 5.5-inch 720p display, a 12MP main camera, 5MP front-facing camera, dual SIM card support, a 2,730 mAh battery and support for microSD cards up to 2TB.
Based on those specs, the HTC Desire 12 should have a price tag of around $200. With Mobile World Congress set to kick off within exactly one week, there’s a good chance that we’ll be seeing a lot more of the Desire 12 in the coming days.
