If you’ve been following the rumors, you may know that HTC was expected to release three new smartphones before the end of the year. The rumored Ocean Master and Ocean Lite were announced a week and a half ago as the HTC U11+ and the HTC U11 life, but the HTC Ocean Harmony is notably still absent from HTC’s official smartphone lineup.
Fortunately, a new rumor has surfaced – giving us a bit of insight into the HTC Ocean Harmony’s specs and its release date. The device is said to feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 SoC, a 5.99-inch 18:9 aspect ratio SLCD5 display with a resolution of 2160 x 1080. Like the HTC U11+, the Ocean Harmoney will also have a 3930 mAh battery, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. No mention ahs been made regarding the phone’s cameras, but we doubt that the phone will be using the same sensor setup as the U11 and U11+ since it’s display and processor clearly position this phone as a mid-range device.
We don’t have an exact launch date for the phone, but the rumor claims that the Ocean Harmony is slated to be unveiled in December. While the phone will sit within the mid-range category, it’ll likely be €150 or $150 more expensive than the HTC U11 life if it comes to Europe or the US markets.
