By now, we likely know everything there is to know about the HTC U11 Plus. If you’re not up to speed, you should catch up on all the U11 Plus details here.
HTC has been dropping hints about the phone on social media over the past few days and has just posted a new video clip which makes a very bold promise – “Even more squeezed in.” Naturally, HTC is referencing Edge Sense which allows you to open specified apps or perform certain functions by squeezing the edge of the phone, but it’s also a reference to the U11 Plus’ inclusion of wireless charging, the 3930mAh battery, IP68 dust and water resistance and it’s 6-inch edge-to-edge display.
While those features will immediately make the U11 seem outdated (not to mention the fact that the U11 Plus will also have a translucent color option), it seems people are already mocking the teaser video on social media. As we already know, the phone will not include a 3.5mm headphone jack – a feature that HTC dropping on the U11 and the HTC Bolt earlier this year.
Obviously, people lock the 3.5mm headphone jack. The question is, will you pass on the HTC U11 Plus simply because HTC has made the switch to audio over USB C?
did y'all squeeze in a headphone jack this time? obviously not

I feel weird, can't wait to see new phone from my favourite manufacturer but afraid 3.5 won't be squeezed in. htc 10 stays if there's no 3.5
