The HTC U Ultra’s unveiling may not be scheduled until January 12th, but that doesn’t mean you have to wait until then to see the phone’s design. Thanks to a new leak, we have 10 images of the HTC U Ultra which show off the phone from nearly every possible angle.
From what we can tell, the design of the HTC U Ultra is a cross between the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 and the LG V20. The U Ultra sports a curved metal frame, sandwiched between 2.5D glass on the front and back of the device. The phone’s main camera, dual-LED flash and laser auto-focus sensor are nearly identical to those of the defunct Note 7. On the bottom edge, the U Ultra features a speaker grill with five slats, a microphone hole and USB type-C port. The top edge sports another microphone hole and the SIM card slot.
Along the front, the U Ultra features two displays – similar to the setup on the LG V20. The images show that the second screen can display the weather, apps icons, date and time and the phone’s battery percentage.
While the design isn’t completely unique, we feel it’s a step in the right direction for HTC. Based on these leaked images, would you buy the HTC U Ultra?

Looks promising, I’m missing the Boom Sound liken on my M9 tho.
Why cant HTC just launch a smartphone with the following features?
– Metal Chassis (preferably water resistant)
– Snapdragon 835 SOC
– 64GB/128GB UFS 2.1 Storage
– Micro SD slot
– 4GB RAM
– Dual Front Speakers
Give me this and I will upgrade from my trusty One M8. 🙂
Oh, very nice.
In addition to the above spec, I would prefer AMOLED Screen.
