First HTC 10 Android Nougat update could arrive by the end of November

HTC has historically released Android updates for its flagship devices ahead of the competition. This year, things are going a bit slower than normal. The good news is that you won’t have to wait too much longer to get Android 7.0 on your HTC 10 if you happen to have purchased the phone in Europe.

According to @LlabTooFeR, the unlocked HTC 10 in Europe will be receiving the update by the end of November or the beginning of December. It would be nice if we had a concrete date to circle on the calendar, but we’ll have to wait just a little longer for that.

The new HTC Bolt which launched last week on Sprint is the first device from HTC to run Android 7.0. If you want to get a feel for what the HTC 10’s Android 7.0 update will include, we suggest making a trip to your local Sprint store to play with the new device.

  1. I prefer them to take a while longer but don’t mess up things has they did with the Lollipop update on the M8.

  2. I would have thought it would be quicker than that – they’ve had android 7 for some time now and the HTC Bolt is almost the same as the 10…..I was hoping they’d just make the jump to 7.1!

  3. Why only HTC 10? What about other model of HTC this so bad so unfair, I’m using HTC 728 ultra dual sim, I’m looking forward for this, regards.
