With the unveiling of the HTC-built Pixel phones out of the way, out attention can is now turning back to the rumored HTC Bolt. Leaks from Evan Blass and LlaBTooFeR are circulating with new details regarding the HTC Bolt’s specs.
Combining the details from both sources reveals that the HTC Bolt will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor with 3GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The phone’s display will be larger than we originally thought, featuring a 5.5-inch panel. Unfortunately, Blass and LlaBTooFeR have shared varying details regarding the resolution of the display. According to Blass, the Bolt’s 5.5-inch display will have a standard 1080p panel, but LlaBTooFeR’s information claims the display will be WQHD (2560 x 1440 pixels.) The resolution of the main camera will be 18-megapixels with an f/2.0 lens and 4k video recording capabilities while the front camera will feature and 8-megapixel sensor. TO finish things off, the HTC Bolt will come with a USB Type-C port with BoomSound audio capabilities.
Unfortunately, the device will not have a 3.5mm headphone jack. And to make things worse, the phone will not feature the same dual speaker BoomSound HiFi setup at the HTC 10.
The HTC Bolt will be sold by Sprint in the US, but HTC will also be releasing the phone in other markets as well. Due to the conflicting reports regarding the phone’s display, it’s hard to pinpoint a price for the device. With a WQHD display, the Bolt could easily be listed for $650. But that price could drop to $550 if the 5.5-inch display is limited to 1080p.

The 5.5 inch screen looks a bit questionable to me. Using the USB C port as reference and measuring the photos above I get about 4.7 or 4.8 inches and dimensions of roughly 130 x 70 mm. Perhaps someone else can independently verify this?
