Since the new Pixel website that Google put up doesn’t show a lot of information about the phone, we dug into the code a little and downloaded the 41 images which rotate inside the outline of the Pixel phone so see if they contain any EXIF data which may tell us more about the cameras used on the Pixel and Pixel XL.
Unfortunately, the images have all be resized and the EXIF data has been stripped. We can assume that the images show were captured by the Pixel or Pixel XL, but there’s no guarantee.
However, there are two images which are hosted on the site which don’t appear in image rotation. These two night time shots give us a look at the full resolution offered by the rumored 12-megapixel camera sensors used inside both phones. The image quality of the two shots isn’t that impressive, but they do appear to show off one of the Pixel phones. We’ve uploaded the full resolution images so that you can take a closer look.
