The upcoming HTC-built Nexus phones are showing up quite a bit in the news lately. Following the recent image leaks of the Nexus Sailfish, a new image of one of the Nexus phones has surfaced on Twitter. Shared by @usbfl, the new image isn’t attributed directly to either the Nexus Marlin or Sailfish, but the source claims that it is one of the two “2016 HTC Nexus” phones.
The image doesn’t how any details that we haven’t been aware of, but it does refute the source’s previous claim that the back of the Nexus phones feature a full glass back.
As stated before, the Nexus Marlin and Nexus Sailfish are expected to feature the same basic design. The only thing which will set the two phones apart will be their size (5-inch display versus 5.5-inch display) and slight proportion variations.
From what we can tell, most Nexus fans are not too pleased with the design route Google and HTC have taken with the 2016 Nexus phones. Many are claiming that the design is recycled from the HTC One A9, cheapening the Nexus overall experience. We’ll be waiting
