HTC has officially unveiled the HTC Desire 830 – a competitively prices mid-range smartphone with an impressive spec list. The Desire 830 comes equipped with a 5.5-inch Full HD display, MediaTek Helio X10 processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, microSD expansion slot, 13 megapixel main camera, 4 UltraPixel front-facing camera and an extremely generous 2,800 mAh battery. The back and sides of the phone appear to be pulled from the body of the Desire 820 while the front of the phone resembles that of the HTC One X9. The HTC Desire 830 will go on sale in Taiwan on May 6 for NT$9,990 ($309 USD).
Announced back in February at Mobile World Congress, the HTC Desire 825 has finally made its way to Taiwan as well. Selling for NT$7,990 ($247 USD), the HTC Desire 825 sports a 5.5-inch 720p Super LCD display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, 16GB of internal storage, 2GB of RAM, microSD expansion slot, 13 rear camera with a 28mm, f/2.2 autofocus lens, and 2700 mAh battery.
From a design standpoint, the HTC Desire 825 looks a lot better than the Desire 830, but you’re definitely getting a better phone if you decide to go with the Desire 830.
