With the European retail debut of the HTC 10 set for later this week, HTC’s software team has released the 1.30.401.1 software update for the phone which improves the performance of the camera, boosts WiFi connectivity and overall system stability.
The chagelog from the HTC 10’s first official software update focuses mainly on improvements to the camera. While early reviews of the HTC 10 gave the camera high praise, most of them did point out specific issues which led to scores that were inferior to those of the Samsung Galaxy S7. There’s no telling if the improvements bundled with the software update will have a significant impact on camera performance, but we’re hopeful that they will.
