At long last, the Marshmallow update for the AT&T-branded HTC One M9 and One M8 is finally rolling out. The update is jam-packed with a plethora of new feature and UI tweaks. Users will not be able to use Google Now on tap, integrate their microSD’s capacity as a system partition with adoptive storage and enjoy better battery life with the new doze feature which puts the phone into a deep sleep mode when it detects that it has not been used for a long period of time.
If you own and AT&T HTC one M8 or One M8 and have not received an update notification on your device to download the Android 6.0 update, go to Settings > About Phone > Software updates > Check Now. The update package is over 1GB, so we recommend connecting to a reliable Wi-Fi network so that you don’t burn through your monthly data allotment on your AT&T plan.
Be sure to let us know how the update process goes for you and what new Android Marshmallow features you enjoy the most.
