You can read about the all new HTC 10 right here, but if you want to watch HTC’s official introduction to the HTC 10, we’ve got the video embedded in the post below. We’re definitely excited with what HTC has unveiled today, but we’ve even more excited to spend some quality time with the new phone and see how the camera, battery life, audio and software perform in the real world.
Now that we have the full picture, what’s your take on the HTC 10?
It looks good. A nice mix of the One M(7-9) and the A9 design. I have always loved the metal body. I have been loving the A9’s fingerprint scanner. I do miss the stereo speakers but we will see how these new ones turn out. I like the larger UltraPixel camera. The 4 UltraPixel on the M7 and M8 were really nice (I was able to take some great photos). I do like that they went with a larger screen. I do have big hands but I like to still be able to use it one handed with ease. I’m super curious about the Sense 8 personalization capabilities.
Over all it looks like a device that can give others a run for their money in all aspects.
Yes looks better then first leaks when pro material.
Also like you like 5.2 could be new sweet spot.
Rest is top.
The HTC 10 design had my attention with the home/scanner being touch capacitance rather than a physical switch. Samsung had to go and pull a stunt locking bootloaders on Galaxy S7 in the U.S., leaving doubts about future root and custom development here. This has me looking but, because the display actually launches with Super LCD5 rather than Super Amoled, looks like I’m still looking for my next upgrade for 2016. Still interested to see camera and display head to head comparisons with Samsung 2016 flagship phones. If there is a HTC Nexus launching later with Amoled screen, micro sdcard, and larger screen, I may grab one if available on Sprint.
