Playing mini golf in VR is great time killer, but it looks like Pool NationVR is going to take up a lot of our time. The new HTC Vive game is all set to hit Steam VR on April 28 for just $20. If you’re thinking that Pool NationVR is just a run of the mill pool simulator, think again. The developers have created a fully interactive pool hall, allowing you to pick up bottles, coasters and even bar stools and use them to create complex trick shots. If that’s not your thing, you can just pick things up and throw them around for fun.
If you don’t like playing on your own, Pool NationVR allows you to play against an AI player or jump into an online game with another human. And if you get bored while waiting for your turn, you can always throw a few darts at the dart board.
Are casual games like Pool NationVR appealing enough for you to buy the HTC Vive or are you waiting for a truly unique VR experience before you dive in?
