Another HTC 10 teaser has just hit the web. While HTC isn’t promising that the HTC 10 will be the “best ever smartphone for shooting photos and video,” the teaser video claims that HTC is obsessed with that notion. We all know that HTC can deliver great software and stunning hardware, but the cameras on its flagship devices have fallen short of expectations ever since the HTC One M7 hit the market three years ago.
HTC could get it right this time around. We’re hoping HTC can deliver on the hype that they are building. The HTC 1’s camera doesn’t have to be better than the iPhone’s or the Samsung Galaxy S7. It just can’t be noticeably worse. If it is, the HTC needs to seriously reconsider its approach to smartphone photography one more.
