With less than two weeks to go before the HTC 10’s official unveiling, the phone has shows up in the FCC database with two different product numbers – the 2PS6200 and 2PS6500. We’re not exactly sure why there are two different models listed, but there’s a good chance that the two devices are sport different network bands to ensure better reception on GSM and CDMA service providers in the US. The only read details that we found is that the HTC 10 will feature a digital FCC label in the phone’s settings under About > Legal Information > Regulatory. The digital label will allow the FCC information to remain with the phone even if the user removed the sticker from the back of the phone.
The HTC 10 is expected to have a Quad-HD 5.1-inch Super LCD5 display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, 4GB of RAM, 32GB on internal storage, microSD card slot, 12 megapixel camera on the back, 5 megapixel front-facing camera and a 3,000 mAh battery. HTC’s launch event for the HTC 10 will be streamed online on April 12 for everyone to see. There are a few reports which claim that the phone may even go on sale the same week that it is released, but only is select markets.
