HTC’s is back with another Hot Deals promotion, making the HTC One A9 available for only $400. The promotion lasts until midnight and is only available for US residents. It’s always nice to see discounts on HTC devices, but the HTC One A9 would have been received a lot better by the public if HTC would have priced the phone at $400 from the beginning.
The unlocked version of the phone works on T-Mobile, AT&T and Sprint, but after extensive testing, HTC has decided it will not release an update for the phone which would have made it compatible with Verizon’s network. Those who have already purchased the phone with the expectation that it would eventually work on Verizon are able to return the phone for a full refund and will receive a 20% discount on the purchase of a new HTC phone between now and December 31 of this year.
