Sprint customers in the US can now update their HTC One M9s to Android Marshmallow. As with the HTC One M8 update, Sprint is the first US service provider to release the new software build for 2015’s One M9. The 3.41.651.3 firmware version delivers a handful of tweaks to HTC Sense along with Google Now on Tap, Doze and Adaptive Storage (check out the video below). Sprint started pushing the update to its devices yesterday morning, but you can try triggering the update manually by going to Settings > System updates > HTC software update > Check now of you have not yet received an update notification on your device.
With the Sprint update in wild, we suspect T-Mobile or AT&T will be flipping the switching on their update servers for the One M9’s Marshmallow update within the next 5-10 days.
My device is a lot faster now. Still gotta get uaed to the few enhanced tweaks and such. Now bring on the M10.
