HTC is continuing its Android 6.0 rollout today by releasing the new software build for the HTC One M9 is Taiwan. HTC One M9 owners have started receiving the two-step update this afternoon. The first update (which tweaks a few system settings before the big update) is only 65MB, but the main Android Marshmallow update weighs in at 1.38GB. If you have purchased an HTC One M9 in Taiwan you can go to Settings > About > Software Updates and tap the Check Now button at the bottom of the screen if you have not yet received an update notification on your device.
Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) comes with quite few under the hood tweaks from Google, including Now on Tap, a new battery-saving doze feature and adaptive storage which allows you to increase the system storage of the phone with a microSD card.
