The official unveiling of the HTC One X9 may be closer than we anticipated. Following a handful of HTC One X9 teasers on HTC’s Weibo page, an images has shown up which hints as a possible December 24th unveiling of the new phone. To our knowledge, HTC has not scheduled a press event for December 24th, but we’re not too sure that the mid-range HTC One X9 is important enough in HTC’s lineup that it would actually get an event. Unveiling a new phone on December 24th may seem a bit odd, but the date really doesn’t have much importance in China – the market most likely to actually get the HTC One X9.
On the pricing front, the HTC One X9 is expected to sell between $366 and $457 USD. It’s not exactly cheap, but when was the last time HTC put out a One-branded phone that was? We’re just hoping that all the speculation and rumors will be cleared up sometime tomorrow.
