The new Star Wars movie is debuting in theaters across the United States so I figured I’d highlight a few themes related to the topic.
Are you a Star Wars fanatic?
Then you might want to get one of these stylish Star Wars themes on your phone before you go watch the latest movie, Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
I’ve been browsing the HTC Theme app a lot lately and I’ve noticed an increase in Star Wars related themes in the gallery. Rather than spending a whole bunch of time covering each of these themes I thought I’d just post a collection for the fanatics to bookmark, download and rotate through at your own leisure.
Star Wars Funny Theme
This themes has a playful message on the wallpaper. For a non-fan like me even I’d be willing to display this theme on my phone. Thanks to Dario Scardy for this and a few other themes I’ll list below.
Star Wars (dark side)
This theme is for those who favor the dark side. It sports a trooper on the main wallpaper, Darth Vadar on another screen and a really cool circular weather icon with matching rounded app icons. This was also credited to Dario Scardy as the designer.
Master Yoda 2.0
From designer HTCNerd Yoda whom I just featured in the latest theme of the week. HTCNerd Yoda shares his passion for the Star Wars saga in several themes I will list in this round-up. Pay special attention to the overlays on the app icons, because they are very custom.
Star Wars – Episode IV – VI Duels
This theme has a handful of wallpapers throughout the theme and has some spring-like colors. Credit to HTCNerd Yoda.
Luke Skywalker – Way of a Jedi 1.0
There’s a few different wallpapers of Luke Skywalker in this theme and it has a green/orange color palette with uniquely styled app icons. HTCNerd Yoda says this and many of his themes come with custom sounds too.
Emperor Palpetine – Darth Sidious 1.0
Another theme by HTCNerd Yoda with influence from the dark side. This theme has multiple wallpapers and I like the custom icons, because you can still see a lot of the original app icon to tell what they are without reading the title. The color scheme has a blue-gray base.
The Force Awakens
The only theme designed by Matt J, but probably the most originally made theme as the user says he made it using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. This theme has a couple of wallpapers and a nice red theme. These wallpapers weren’t made by another and reshared by this designer in the HTC Theme app, they were influenced by the new movie.
Star Wars (Battlefront)
This theme is from the new video game called Star Wars: Battlefront. It has two different wallpapers and light gray colored icon overlays.
Tapping the links above on your mobile will take you to a web browser and you may need to try the following in order to see it in the Themes app:
- After you click on the link make sure you are *logged in at the top right and then tap the bookmark button near the middle of the screen. Then, on your phone open the Themes app and scroll to the right until you get to “MY BOOKMARKS” and the new theme should be listed in there. *Make sure you log into the website using the same Google account used on your phone.
- If this doesn’t work for you, try searching for it in the Themes app: There is a search bar in the Themes app, tap the 3 stacked lines in the top left. Search will be in the grey bar across the top.
If you have a Star Wars theme of your own or have a favorite you found in the gallery, please share it in the comments below. I know there are lots of fans out there that want to spice up their phones.
