The demo crew for the HTC Vive is setting up shop at two new schools this coming week offering students and faculty a taste of the best virtual reality system about to hit the market. Gaming is very popular with the age demographic typically found at college schools so HTC is targeting the right crowd with this Campus Tour.
So, where is the HTC Vive crew gonna be this week?
Students and faculty at the University of California, San Diego and North Carolina State need to check the flyers below to find out where to line up for a demo of this year’s hottest virtual reality technology. Demos typically last 30 minutes, but you will need to get there early to secure a demo time and most likely come back later for your one on one time with the HTC Vive. Twitter is the easiest way to find out if there are still slots available. When a demo fills up for the day someone is thoughtful enough to share that info through @HTCVive.

As far as I know there hasn’t been an official long list of dates and locations on the Campus Tour so tune into the HTC Vive twitter feed for updates and we’ll try to keep our eyes peeled for tour info. HTC should be announcing official release dates, specs, and pricing info in the next few weeks. Expect the first run of pre-orders to be very limited and in high demand. Stay tuned for more!
