After months of languishing revenue reports, HTC has finally hared some positive news. HTC’s revenue for the month of October came in at NT$8.95 billion (roughly $276.8 million USD). While the revenue number is 43.2% lower than what HTC posted during October of 2014, it represents a 25.92% month-over-month increase and is the highest monthly revenue number HTC past posted in six months.
It may not seem like much for now, but HTC’s revenue increase in October may be the beginning of an upward trend for HTC. The company has stated that it is expecting sales of the HTC One A9 to lead HTC to a profitable Q4. It’s still too early to know if the HTC One A9 will actually turn into a commercial success, but with the right marketing campaign, it could actually outsell the HTC One M9.
